About

Produced by Global Dance, Global Dance Festival has been a cornerstone of dance music in Colorado since the early 2000s. In a time when our music was still underground and sometimes frowned upon, we were lucky enough to get an opportunity to present you a show at one of the best venues in the entire world, Red Rocks Amphitheater. Before the time of mega festivals, this yearly homecoming was unique across the nation, and has grown to be recognized by fans across the world.

Moving to a new home opens up a whole new realm of exciting possibilities and allows us to take the Global Dance Festival experience to the next level! Believe us, making the decision to leave Red Rocks did not come easily. But if we have learned anything from Decadence, a space can be transformed into whatever world the heart desires.

For the fifteenth anniversary of Global Dance Festival we will be transforming the grounds of Sports Authority Field at Mile High into an all-encompassing festival experience far beyond what we’ve been able to do in years past. Parts of the stadium, external grass lawns and paved areas will be used to accommodate multiple massive stages and larger production than ever. A food truck village, a carnival atmosphere complete with multiple rides and carnival games, silent disco, a huge decked out VIP village with private bars, bathrooms and lounge seating areas, shade zones, lockers, stage-side cabanas, an art park with massive installations and room for more attendees than ever are just some of the new features that will make the first year in our new home the most mind-blowing summer music festival Colorado has ever seen! #GDF17
