Global Dance Festival is moving homes! We’re excited to bring one of Colorado’s legacy dance music festivals to the National Western Complex across the outdoor and indoor spaces of the site with new extended hours running from 5PM to 1AM daily. Our move to a new home will feature some of the best dance music acts across the globe, art installations, food trucks of various cuisines, performers, new stages, an enhanced VIP experience and so much more. 2024 marks a new adventure to even bigger and better heights for Global Dance Festival this July 26th and 27th!
GDF has been a cornerstone of dance music in Colorado since the early 2000s, growing into the premiere festival at one of the best venues in the world, Red Rocks Amphitheatre, and the largest annual summer music festival in the Rocky Mountain region of the United States. In 2017, GDF departed Red Rocks and debuted in its new home at Empower Field at Mile High in order to present an immersive festival that was not possible at the legendary amphitheatre. GDF has stood as one of Colorado’s staple festivals for two decades, solidifying its place as the must attend electronic festival of the Mile High city.

Food and beverage will be available at various locations throughout the venue. The Food Truck Marketplace will offer a wide variety of selections. Free water refill stations will be at various locations that can be located on the festival map.
Bars for 21+:
Liquor and beer is available for guests 21+ with valid ID at various locations that can be located on the festival map.
Acceptable Documents (For 18+ VIP Entry & 21+ Bars) – All identification must be official documents issued and sealed by a US government entity or a verifiable foreign government, and contain a clear photo, description and date of birth. The venue recognizes valid State issued drivers licenses from the US or state issued identification cards from the US; valid issued drivers licenses from another government or government issued identification cards from another government; passports from the US or another government; and US military identification cards. Each unit must comply with applicable state, provincial or local law on acceptable forms of identification.
Staying Hydrated:
It is vital to drink plenty of water throughout the weekend, especially since the event takes place at altitude. Be sure to stay hydrated.
Re-entry:
Re-entry is not permitted except in certain emergencies and severe weather conditions.
Security:
All guests are subject to inspection upon entrance. All rules and guidelines are subject to security discretion.
Merchandise:
Vendors will be located around the venue. Merchandise will be available for purchase. Also look for official GDF Gear!
Weather:
The festival will take place rain or shine.
Camping:
Camping is not allowed at the National Western Complex. Downtown Denver is home to a variety of hotels that are a quick ride or walk from the festival grounds!
