Ephwurd first blasted onto the scene in July of 2015 as an anonymous new artist with their remix of Major Lazer’s “Lean On” alongside ETC!ETC! A week later they revealed their identity as bass music powerhouse Datsik (Troy Beetles) and good friend and tour manager Bais Haus (Basie Hauser). The duo skyrocketed to notoriety when their collaboration alongside future bass trailblazer Jauz, “Rock The Party” became a festival staple. Soon after, Ephwurd gave fans a taste of their solo flavor by releasing their first original work “Duckface” on Spinnin’ paired with a hit music video directed by Phil Hodges of Jim Henson Studios.
Ephwurd’s fast-paced future bass wubs continue to permeate the scene since the pair’s inception. With solid remix’s under their belt from The Chainsmokers, Kill The Noise, and Oliver Heldens, the duo made their EDC Vegas debut in June of 2016 with a shredding set at the Cosmic Meadow Stage. Be sure to keep an eye out for their latest single, “Vibrations” which was released on Tiesto’s infamous “Musical Freedom Imprint” in October 2016. With a razor-sharp production prowess and stadium-smashing performance techniques, it’s clear where Ephwurd is headed – straight to the top.
